At the beginnings of searching for a source for a custom made thin flexible silicone heating blanket to be used to asist in bending thin wood laminates, similar to how the sides of a guitar can be bent. Luthiers Mercantile sells one 5 3/4" x 37" but is a tad small in both directions.

Called WATLO, who I read makes LM's but they wouldn't talk to me and referred me to other business that purchase from them. I prefer to deal direct with someone that understands the application.

I need one about 6 1/2" x 52" to accomodate a small piano I'm building that will resemble a grand piano.

Anyone have a source they've used?

Cheers,

Kent

I haven't used them, but I suspect you'll get exactly what you need.

Thanks John. Looks like they may work with small businesses so I'll give them a call next week.

Cheers,
