I am looking for a jig that would allow me to cut a peice of wood 7 inches llong 2 inches at one end and three and one half the other end and both sides cut at 22.5 degrees

Looks like you're wanting to make a slideboard/sled for a table saw. You would need a right and left....... Easy to make...... Jerry (in Tucson)

That's a pretty interesting idea for using the minimum wood to start the shape.

Robert, the detailed insturctions I gave on in a pm are good on the slideboard, but I told you 3 1/8' from the kerf. I went back to your post and you are wanting 3 5/8". Just make that change, and you're good to go. Jerry (in Tucson)
