Last of the Rockler maple. This one is 11" and about 2" deep. The rim is double beaded and the rim again undercut. The bottom is recessed and single beaded. 2 coats of oil and a couple of lacquer. It is about a 1/4" to 5?16" thick.

Wow! That figure just screams! The platter would be sweet even if the wood were plain. Beautiful!

Another beauty. That stack at Rockler was mighty tempting, wish I would have bought a couple of hunks, may have to make another visit. You did the wood proud.

Mark, I was fortunate enough to get there when the stack was new. I sorted through over 100 blanks and selected about 6. The clerk said he never saw anyone pick through the whole pile like that. With my 10% off club members discount I thought they were a great deal. I don't think I paid more than $12 for any one blank.

Wow, was it hard to take that photo with all the movement of that bowl. You and Rockler have a thing going. Once again I love the undercut rim, I'm going to have to try one.
