I always liked Tim Allen's shows and movies. Who didn't like Tool Time? But last night's episode of Last Man Standing was quite timely, with the current headlines regarding allowing women in military combat roles. Tim's youngest daughter, Eve, joined the ROTC program at school, and went gung ho on wanting to get involved in such roles, including becoming a sniper. When they visited the local VFW, she got to meet a lot of vets. But the female at the end of the bar told of her being the lead SAW gunner escorting convoys, 41 successful times. I presumed it was just an actor until she got off the bar stool to walk out as she said the 42nd mission didn't go so well. The whole bar was in silence as she left, clearly showing her with two prosthetic legs. I'll have to say it gave me a lump in my throat. God bless our vets, both male and female.

I have it on the DVR, will watch it tonight. It's a good show, I don't care for the "new" daughter that much.

I'm sure ya'll have noticed, that this show is pretty much an undated "All in the Family", in a lot of ways.
