Help with identification...

Can anyone help identify this old plane? I can't seem to find any markings on it.

It looks craftsman made. I've never seen anything like it. The handle looks like it might've come from an old jack plane or razee jack.

looks like someone made there own #78 out of a piece of angle iron. Kind of neat; I would tune it and try and make some rebates. If you could I would like to see some close ups of the blade adjuster area.

My recollection is that Patrick Leach recently had a plane like that on his for sale listing.

It was different than this one.

This one does look like a home spun job as David suggested.
