Hello all,

Here are 2 salt and pepper mill with salt shaker sets. The left set is spalted pecan and the other is ambrosia maple. The finish is Seal R Cell and then 4 coats of Arm R Seal with 0000 steel wool in between coats.

You can be proud of those Michael. Great job! Not sure I've ever seen a set with a pepper grinder, a salt grinder and a salt shaker too. What inspired this?

Thanks for the compliments! Both of the folks who got these sets wanted to have a salt mill for smoked sea salt and then a salt shaker for regular table salt... the best of both salt worlds!

I just made one that has the pepper grinder and salt shaker combined.

Nice work. Anyone would be proud to own one of those sets. And - ERMERGERD - there is such a thing as smoked sea salt? Who knew?

Gene- You'd be surprised at the choices that are out there. I get some from a lady/company in Louisville....sort of gourmet, and very tastey. They are: Bourbon Garlic Smoked Sea Salt and Sherry Smoked Spanish Olive Sea Salt. I just need to get off my duff and turn a couple of 4" grinders for them. :(

Gene, you would be amazed at all of the different flavors of salt out there! The smoked sea salt is a great addition to meat, especially if you grill the meat!

Google saltworks to see a slice of what's out there for your culinary delight!
