What qualifies a member as a Contributor?

Al,

SMC is a privately owned website that is financially supported by paid advertisements and by financial donations by members. For a suggested $6 annual donation, one gains access to several other forums, a bigger avatar, the ability to start their own blog here etc. You can become a Contributor by clicking on the Donate button on the blue bar near the top of the page.

Most of the website is still available for participation to those who choose to not help financially support SMC or can't afford to help support SMC.
