Ok, this should be the end of it (shaving paraphernalia 'project') unless anyone can help me out with the end grain problems in my brushes here (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?197917-Shaving-brushes-and-end-grain-woes&p=2048021#post2048021).
I'm not sure how many of you shave with a brush, but when I lather the soap up in the bowl, and enjoy whipping up a good amount of such, it starts overflowing and running over the sides of the normal shallow shaving bowls. So, when I started this out, I wanted to make this deep, or at least deeper than the normal ones, and I wanted to put a second 'lip' on it to catch my usual overflow. So this is what I came up with, a cocobolo 4 3/4" x 2 3/4" bowl...sure feels 'good' in my hand.
