Hello all,
I've been looking locally and not locally for a drill press on CL for over a year without much luck (I'm in a rural area).
There's a PM2800 that looks to be in good shape that I can get for ~$600 ("only" a couple hours away). I've heard mixed reviews of this unit and the other options i'm considering are a new Jet 17" for about the same price at CPO (JDP-17DX). Is the PM a no-brainer? Any other suggestions in the $300-600 range? I've though about the 15" PC from Lowe's (based on price) but that seems like false economy. Note, my preference would be to find something used for less, but I'm not sure it is going to happen.
