This one is about 3" dia. x 2" ht., Danish oil.

That is a beautiful box Richard! I think you really nailed the form on this one, pretty wood and I love the soft finish.

Very nice Richard. Dims are deceiving. Looks much bigger then a 3x2.

Some folks asked for dimensions. Let's try this:
Base width 2.96
Base ht. 1.575
Base flange ht 0.175
Base-int. width @flange 1.925
Dia., outside of flange 2.08
Base dia., bottom 1.325
Lid dia, overall 2.83
Lid ht 0.725
Lid depth @edge 0.33
Thickness, lid, at bottom 0.425

You did a great job. I like turning bradford pear. But, I've never turned anything of this caliber. It seems to finish good too.
