I've been looking for a 7.5 hp compressor with 80 gal. tank. Are these any good?

You'll have to specify what model/type of compressor. They make 7.5 hp in rotary screw, aluminum piston, cast iron piston, and so on. If you know what you want, chances are they offer it.

I was looking at the ar series of compressor 80 gal. vertical tank. Including aftercooler,low oil and automatic drain. Not screw type.

It looks like it has reed valves rather than disc valves, and I can't tell if the pump on the 7.5hp model is all cast iron. Doesn't mean it isn't a good unit, depends on price point and intended severity of use.
