The thicker NE bowls sell so much better here than the super thin ones. That walnut been sitting a while? That's what mine look like after they've been sitting out, the sap turns dark, lots of people think they're getting an all heart NE bowl, which ain't possible!

Really nice NE Thomas. i like thicker walls and they do sell better around here.

Of all the natural edge bowls you've posted, this one is my favorite. Walnut seems to be the perfect wood for a NE bowl with it's thick and deeply fluted bark. All are nice bowls though.

Thanks for all the replies. I seem to like turning natural edges more than regular bowls. I just have a time sanding some times if it isn't turning fast.
