Anybody with a driftmaster installed, can you answer a question about the location of the tapped holes in steel cylinder the fence rides on? I am trying to install and it almost seems the holes are in the wrong place. It has 4 holes drilled and tapped, 1 is 40mm from an end, another is 164mm from the other end, and 2 more between these. Where does the "40mm from the end" hole go relative to the back of the saw (area with the backbone that holds everything together). I have to put it near the blade (far away from the backbone (in order to have the index holes in the two ends properly position the threaded lead screw). This almost seems backwards to me. I wonder if I have a manufacturing defect. Thanks.
