Good job, Harry.
The text is clear enough that I can see it without my reading glasses.
Thank you.

As discussed before, an alternative to glueing is to use strong rubber bands to hold the reversed pieces together. Another alternative is to glue the pieces together with paper between them. The paper all gets moved to the outside when you split and rotate to do the real outside, so it all gets turned off.

If adding a tree or ball inside, try to keep the opening just smaller that the largest diameter of the inset item.

Thom, when using paper between the four pieces during the first stage, do you still split them apart by tapping a wide chisel into the seams?

Yup. Or a knife blade. It usually splits fairly easily, but gives plenty of hold for turning. Use a chuck on one end and remove the point from the live center on the other because that CAN split the paper too.

I have some more of these on different projects if someone wants them I'll post them or PM them if I can.

I certainly would like to see more. A separate thread for each one would make them easy to find like this one too.

I would also recommend wrapping filament tape around the ends to serve as a backup to the glue joints.
