I have been asked by the family of an old friend who recently passed to create a plaque for an urn. I would like to place a photo of him on this, which will be on engraving aluminum or brass. I have no clue how to do this, I have watched the youtube videos and still nada. I'd be more than happy to pay someone to help me with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to crop out the background of what I think is a very simple photo. I have it as a jpeg also if that helps. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Walt, I'll look and see if I can get a better photo, maybe it's the material that just won't do very well. It came out very washed out. I appreciate your help.

Greg

Here's a quick and dirty attempt using PhotoPaint.

The second one is laser sublimation on brushed silver engraving stock.

The image will be very small, about 2" x 2" on black alum plate ( trophy material) or black brass
Thanks

251767Greg,
The attached is about 2x2 at 300 dpi. Prepared with Photoshop with a black background, greyscale ready to invert for your black aluminum. The photo was not great, so test it first to see what you get. Hope it works for you.
