Yet another Hollow form

Actually over the past month I've turned quite a few hollowforms, just yesterday I roughed out five new pieces between 6" - 8" in width.
This one however has some "nice figure and spalting" so I felt it worthy of posting, Turned from a small crotch piece of London Plane, measures 4 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w with a wall thickness of 1/8" or less and an opening of 1/2"

That's a beauty, John. Those flatter tops are hard to get right, but I think you hit it.

That is a beautiful piece. I am also impressed that you can rough out 5 hollow forms in a day. It takes me at least an hour to do the hollowing on one using the Monster articulated system, and I don't often try for an opening smaller than an inch. What is your secret?
