I have finished up the knife block and the scales on the knives I was making. Was a little different project for me as I mostly do turning. The knife kits were a Christmas present. Wood is curly maple.

Sparky,
Your knives turned out great. You also did a great job on the knife block. I don't see the cutting board!!! It looks like the steel is really high quality steel. How did you sharpen them? That was a great project, and a great Christmas present, that you will use and enjoy for a long, long time.
Great job, Sam

Wow..that's a beautiful set. Those blades and handles look great. Where did you get your blades?

Sparky, Can't recall if yo mentioned previously what epoxy you used for the scale attachment? Could you please tell us again?

Pat
I used the System 3 T88 epoxy from Woodcraft and it seems to have worked well. The knives came with rivets but the direction said you could also just epoxy the scales on and I thought that would look better so I tried it. Only time will tell.
