Frist of all, a great big THANKS! to Kathy Marshall for a box full of beautiful wood!

I turned the smallest one, marked "mesquite?". So the first 2 are pics of a "little mesquite? cup".

Second is a small walnut bowl using wood from another Creeker.

Third is a little cocobolo bowl using the same block of wood that I used several years ago for making an infill plane.

Simple forms, beautiful wood, happy day.

Brian

Yes they definitely are really nice bowls and I do like the simple form. All three are well done. What did you finish them with.

I sand through 400 grit, polish with 3M rubbing pads (from Lee Valley), then use wipe-on poly. I have a little Maloof Oil / Varnish finish on hand so I have been using that.

Nice job,I love the finish. They should make really nice M&M bowls:D I guess you could put peanuts in one IF they have M&M's wrapped around them.
