Not much turning done this year, being slammed at work, and our first grandchild, but did find some time during the holidays.
About this time last year Ken Hill gifted several of us with pieces of oak burl that he cut up. I was undecided on just how to turn my piece, so I took a good while hoping that I had a mind that was capable of being made up. Finding that I did not, I proceded anyway, and this is the result.
It ended up at 8" tall and 4" at it's widest point. It has been given my home brew oil finish and will be buffed (carefully), when dry.
Once more, a BIG thank you to Ken for your generosity!
Thanks for looking C&C welcome.
