Hey,

Anyone out there know what to use for a colourfill for polycarbonate? Tried spray paint for plastic and also acrylic. Both peel right off. Lasering clear flyboxes.
Thanks!

Polycarbonates typically don't work well with lasers. Is there a reason to choose that over acrylic?

Screenprint ink that's made for it such as Nazdar 8800 though I'm not sure how well it sticks after engraving. Normally it would be used on the glossy surface.

I'm assuming you have lasered the polycarbonate already and are satisfied with the results - most people have not had much luck making a good raster image on polycarbonate. But if you want a spray paint that will stick, investigate the RC model paint. The bodies are usually polycarbonate as it has high impact strength, and the paint should stick to your part. The paint is a bit expensive but you probably don't need much.
