I had to replace the trunnions on my Grizzly table saw and now it's hard to raise and lower the blade.I can move the blade up and down somewhat but it's very hard to use.Is there a certain way to install the trunnions? The saw works ok but I don't think I have the trunnions installed correctly.Any help??

Got a parts diagram for your saw? If you bought it new one probably came with it. Look at how the parts are suposed to engage each other.

The part that raises and lowers the arbor is mounted between them. Perhaps something is not aligned correctly or a cable is routed wrong. With the parts diagram and any doors and covers open, inspect the mechanism carefully and watch how things move (or don't) when you move the blade. You may see what's binding.

I can visualize how the trunion could be installed in a way to make it bind. I'd try loosening the bolt that hold it to the cabinet to see if it moved freely that way. If not I'd suspect the new part is bad.
