Harvest Table - Ideas Wanted

Hi. I am wanting to make a Harvest Table for my home. I have looked around a bit and have come upon a few drawings and ideas. So far I am leaning towards a blend of the country harvest table featured in Wordsmith no 122 and a table posted by CederFreakCarl (http://lumberjocks.com/CedarFreakCarl) on LJ’s. If anyone has other ideas along these lines or can point me towards any plans for further consideration I would be most appreciative.

If table is to have chairs slid under ends, make sure the leg spacing is wide enough. Fifteen years ago, I built my wife a drop leaf table, then realized chairs would go under ends. Had to quickly remake top (added an extra board) and rails for ends. My FIL has a drop leaf table that chairs won't go under ends.
