Shoot, next year he will only need to turn one flower and jam it into the vase! :)

Nice work Thomas.

The only thing more beautiful than the flowers is the model who's holding them in the last photograph. Does your wife know about her?

Nice work Thomas.

Yes, but he has to remember to that EVERY year from now on! and to always try to outdo last years offering!
Great job Thomas, I see a lot of varied techniques used there.

Thank you guys for all the kind words.
Greg, I tilted the table on my spindle sander and just sanded the top and botttom. It was a last minute design change/addition.
Scott H., I love the idea of adding an additional flower each year. SO EASY...... Here I am, wayyyy over thinking things
David,Scott L. , I will pass along the wonderful compliments to her. thanks

Wow what a fantastic idea! I really like the vase, the center piece of wood evokes a piece of twine or rope wrapped around it and makes it an interesting unique piece. The flowers also came out really well.

What a wonderful gift Thomas! Very well executed and great choice of woods. Looks to me like she loves it!
When you add a flower next year, you can just drop a little surprise inside of it for her to find.
