Router Table QUestions

1) I bought a Woodpeck 27x43 top and the center of the bit is about 16-1/2" from the front of the table. This seems very deep to me - what do other brands have?

2) Height. I'm building a cabinet for the top and the Woodpeck stand can vary from 36" to 42". At 5'10" what would be a good height?

I have a Jessem table at the bit is 12" from the front, I don't think 16" is bad at all, I use the front more then I use the back of the table. My table is 41", I am 5'9" and like the table high.
