I'm wondering how they pulled an approximately 40,000 lb log from the bottom of a river? The video says they lifted it out of the river with a crane. It isn't clear if the crane actually pulled it out of the mud or not.

I toured a sawmill in the mid 80s. They had removed every guard on every machine in the place. They said it took two weeks to prepare for an OSHA inspection to get all the guards reinstalled. This was the type of place that probably needed a surprise OSHA inspection.
