I wanted to thank everyone for the advise on my EPS files. I guess it was a
lost cause. Anyway I have one more beginner question. Someone suggested
using painters tape as a mask. I have been engraving a lot of cultured marble
with very detailed images that are paint filled and removing all the little pieces
of tape afterwards is a nightmare. Would wax (such as pledge) work? I am using a product called lithacrome for the paint fill and it is very durable so I thought maybe I could just use a solvent to remove the wax afterwards.
Thanks again! Pat Dillon

If you got toa vinyl supply store and use the paper based vinyl application tape (low to medium tack) and laser thru that, it's a snap to remove. You can take it of very easily if dry and if you wet it, it just rolls off.
