I have been working on my technique and the finish.
I'm much more pleased with these than the first pens... but hey we have to learn to walk before we run, right? :)

I dont remember what the first wood is. The second is Zircote and the thrid is Bloodwood.

I now have more sandpaper so went thru what I had... 150, 220, 320 and 400.
I then put 3 coats of the Hut Friction Polish on them. I think the combination of more grit and more coats helped alot. I'm much happier with the finish on these than the previous attempts.

They're really nice. Zircote and Bloodwood are two of the many woods I've never tried. I think you're more creative than I am when turning them. You have a good eye for the lines - keep it up!
