Does anyone else find it odd that the fence has a raised bolt on it that doesn't let you put wide pieces you are working on flat on the table until the piece clears the bolt? See arrow in photo.

My cap screws goes clear down in the hole.

I went to the Kreg website and they show both screws recessed so that the heads aren't sticking up above the bracket.

Depending on you b/s, maybe it's bottomed out and can't go anymore. May need to trim some of the threads off to make it recess more?!?
