I have an old Delta and I need to keep it going for at least a couple of months. The infeed roller is worn. I sharpened the blades and adjusted them with the guage. When I put a straight edge perpendicular across the rollers and blades the straight edge rocks on the blade as the blade is further down than the rollers. I can make an adjustment to the height of the blade and or the rollers . I never checked it when it had in new rollers but I thought the rollers should be lower than the blade. Does anyone know what it should be an what the difference in heights should be.

If rollers were lower than blades, then blades wouldn't contact stock.

The rollers are spring loaded . How it is now the blade can make contact with the stock without making any contact with the rollers. I am trying to find out what differential their should be between the height of the blade and the height of the rollers.

Michael.

If you don't have the manual, it's available online from Delta.
