rust hunting the DC or Fairfax area???

Anyone know of, or care to share, any good places to go "rust hunting" in the DC area?

I'll be in the Fairfax / DC area this coming week, and might have a little time to go hunting :rolleyes:

There's a pretty active group of rust hunters in that area. I've never had much luck. Every time I located a yard/estate sale selling tools, the same group would be there waiting ... sometimes overnight to be first in line. Flea market prices always seemed high too.
Maybe someone knows someplace I never found when I lived closer to DC though.

I've lived in the DC area for 52 years. I read about flea markets held in other areas and wish we had that here. Antique dealers in this area think their junk is gold. The only success I've ever had was going to a church that use to have flea markets on Saturday.
