I wanted to see what was inside this old apple tree root .. outside the cracks and mold tell me a long and tormented story ... INSIDE I found the unique work of Mother Nature

sorry for the very bad photo :(

Now that is gnarly! Very cool! How big is it? Did you turn a bowl shape on the inside and if so how did you attach it to the lathe? Is the bottom burned? Sorry for all the questions but your piece intrigues me.

Thanks for posting the picture.

Francesco, you have a unique ability to see inside the wood. I hope you can see inside people the same way.

Francesco - you create some very interesting pieces - usually very rustic in nature - and this piece fits right in with the rest of your work! Very interesting, very natural/organic and it pulls people in to take a closer look! Cool stuff! Thanks for sharing!

many thanks to all and very good Christmas :)
Here I put the epoxy down to pick in compression with VM120 but to dig only part I had to attach it decentralized and used Sorby Sovereign Ultima .. very sorry for my bad english :o ... sharing is the best for all woodworkers ... :)

Interesting and beautiful piece of wood. It should make some nice turnings.
