Pad for PC 333VS Sander

While using my PC 333VS random orbit sander yesterday, the pad the sandpaper attaches to came off. Is there a place online I can order the replacement from?

From the parts diagram in the book, It looks like it's held on with three screws (currently, that part is still attached to the machine). Is that correct?

I did a search here at SMC but didn't come up with anything. Thanks for any input and Merry Christmas.

Go to the Porter Cable website. I have replaced mine several times by buying from them.

If you don't need it real quick, although if you were using it you probably do, I'd try someone like ereplacements.com They usually have some attractive pricing. Jim.

Have you tried Home Depot or Lowes? I've purchased them there before.

Dan, I have one the very same. In fact, my backing pad gave up the ship a few weeks ago. I emailed the Delta group and they confirmed my suspicion that the Dewalt and Porter Cable plates are interchangable. Greg

As Jim said, Ereplacement parts has them, I think they have everything. There are 2 types, type 1 and a type 2.
