What handle length in 5/8 Thompson bowl gouge

I am about to update my turning tools and need a little help.
I have decided to purchase the Lacer 5/8 and 1 3/8 skew, and

Sorry, the laptop posted without my permission. My main
question was what handle length I should settle on for Thompson's
5/8 bowl gouge. I am going to put his 16 inch handle in the 1/2 inch
bowl gouge, but am still undecided whether to order a 16 or a 20
for the 5/8 v gouge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dod you know there is a woodturners forum here? This almost exact question was asked, with a lot of great info. Check it out. BUT beware, all of those guys will make you spend even more money......
