I uploaded my X3 version on 3 computers, only 1 gives me the option to "edit bitmap"

any ideas why? can it be enabled?

Is the "edit bitmap" menu option there, but greyed out? If so, then I suspect it may be a problem with file associations.

You could try resetting CorelDraw to factory defaults by pressing F8 and starting CorelDraw.

Or you could check Coreldraw to see if it is linked to Photopaint. eg Tools->options->global ->filters ->Associate. See if CPT is checked. If not, check it, then shut down and restart CorelDraw.

You could also try a repair - I think you need to go to the Control Panel and pretend you are going to remove it. Along the way it should give you the option to repair it instead.

If the edit bitmap menu selection is gone, then I have no idea.

I would try Richard's repair suggestion. Have the cd ready when requested.

Simple question----did you select the bitmap on the two that didn't show edit bitmap?

Checking the CPT box did the trick - thanks!!!
