Going through some old woodworking magazines and I came across the January, 1997 issue of Popular Woodworking. They had a Jewelry Armoire project in there . A few questions:

1. Has anyone built it from their plans ?

2. The issue is so old, I don't know if it came with pull out plans in the magazine back then or not. Are there plans for this ?

3. Instead of the felt sheets, could that spray on flocking material be used ?

4. Who makes a good brand of brass hinges for this project ?

Thanks,

I don't know anything about this project, but I can answer you flocking question: USE IT! I love the looks of it, it is truly seamless. I get my flocking from Rocker. To apply my flocking I use the mini flocker tube. Here is a few tips on flocking: I pre-finish the surfaces then scuff sand with 150 grit paper. Don't worry about the suface quality, alsong as it is smooth nothing will show through. Wear a dust mask the stuff is nasty, and flock in a cardboard box lined with a plastic to catch the leftover powder. Allways apply more than you think, the extra will shake off.

Hope this helps.
