That's really nice! The wood has so much character. Great form and I love the subtle inlay....

Nice sized vase Eric! I found it interesting that you undercut the rim. Gives the perception of a thick form - without the weight! Cool way to preserve the wood around the opening!

Beautiful piece!! The small amount of turquoise adds a lot to the finished product. Very nice!

Thanks. I really like using inlay. In fact, I often hope for some cracks to develop during drying, as the inlay can add so much to a final product. And, inlay is so easy. I appreciate all of the comments.

Very nice piece. I love spalted wood anyway and the inlace makes it that much better.

Super turnings and wood too. You might consider saving the shavings to innoculate more sycamore.---and share with me.!!!
