Working with STAINED GLASS.


What is the proper way to work with Stained Glass ? Specifically, what is the proper way to secure it in a Jewelry Box lid ?

Not sure about a jewelry box lid but I used regular old clear silicone caulk to put a stained glass panel in a cupboard door. It's what the maker of the panel recommended about twenty years ago and it's still holding on.

I would think you would want something somewhat flexible as the wood may have slight movement and the glass will not. You can get small hand held tubes of aquarium silicone that would be easier to handle for smaller work like a jewelry box.
