Some of you may know and do this already.
I have some nasty curly soft maple I needed to use my router plane on.
All I got when working with the grain was tear out.
I tried fine cuts, narrower cuts and different blades.
Nothing was stopping the tear out.
Then I increased the secondary angle. Maybe by 50% I never measured it.
Fine cuts and no tear out.
A little hard to push but it works.
Is this one of those duuuuh moments where yeah.... what's you point Dale. You didn't know this.
