I have an off the wall question. I made some signs and stained them (oil-base) to make the letters appear clearer. after waiting 3 days I ran them through my drum sander to remove the stain off of the face. Is that a potential fire hazard in my dust collector even after waiting 3 days for the stain to dry?

I have never heard it said that this might cause a problem. The VOCs evaporate quickly, and those are the problem (usually).
No difference was seen in this particular test, and the stain was applied 24 hours before the fire:
