Looking to make some refrigerator magnets out of wood scraps for a few extra stocking stuffers/gifts. Needing some 1/2" rare earth magnets to use for them. Any suggestions on where to buy them with good pricing? Seems to be a lot of different types and strengths of R.E. magnets as well.

I teach middle school science, and I've ordered from www.gaussboys.com (http://www.gaussboys.com) several times. Quick service and great about answering application questions from a nit-picky teacher!

I too get them from ebay... class N42 magnets.

20 for $10.99 including shipping.
I've purchased several sets from this vendor (http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Neodymium-Magnet-1-2-x-1-8-Disc-N42-Rare-Earth-NdFeB-/200854088294?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec3d62a66).
