Delta lathe stand question

Those who have the 46-460 midi lathe with extension, do you use the stand? Or did you build your own? Is the Delta stand rigid enough or do you have vibration problems?

I have a lathe on order and am wondering whether to order a stand plus extension or build my own.

I built the one in the Vol 20 Issue 120 of Shopnotes but haven't used the lathe on it yet. I built the extension as well. It has a compartment underneath that allows you to put concrete pavers in as ballast and increase the weight and stability. I do mostly spindle turning, no bowls, so I won't have much heavy stuff on my 46-460, but the stand appears to do fine.
