I don't know why, but I think that 3rd shot is just cute. The curved top is what does it, I think. Very nice.

Nice job Alan. The two woods look great together. I think it is fun to make lidded bowls. Getting the curve of the lid to match the curve of the bowl can sometimes improve the look IMO. A straight profile shot is needed to judge that. Replicating the design in the creation of the knob is another possibility.

I like the box Alan, nice shape and wood combination :), I find the knob a little large maybe, but that's just me of course or the picture makes it seem big :o

Alan, I just love the shape of your lidded bowl/box. A very pleasing shape, it just begs to be held. Agree with putting MandM's in it.
