Anyone have any good ideas to make small slipfeathers without them flying all over the shop. Typically I do 1/8 " and other dimensions
according to the box. Was using a RAS and they fly all over my shop.

Never heard of splines referred to in this way, but we're all here to learn:

If ripping this thin on the RAS, I'd use double stick tape and mount the work to a carrier board, should hold good enough with a shallow score to the carrier board to retain it for pulling it off.

When I crosscut small pieces on my RAS, to save them. I use some masking tape, taped the full length of the crosscut and about 8"-10" longer to use as a handle and too keep my hand clear of blade. With a little tension on tape during your cut, your small slipfeather will pull lose and move clear of blade. You can reuse tape for next cut. Oh don't forget to clamp stock you are cutting from, or you will be running out of hands, one holding tape other holding RAS. Also works on crosscut sled. Tom
