I'd like to try some other dithering patterns on my Epilog. Is this something I can just download? Alternatively, are drivers for other laser makers interchangable, or compatible?

I'm not a computer guy so I don't know how stupid this question might be. :D

Thanks!
Dave

Set your driver to do no dithering, then select between multiple dithering options in your graphics program. You may need multiple programs and/or plug-ins to get a wide selection. PhotoShop offers a few, Corel offers similar options... I think Paint.NET offers one or two different ones. If memory serves, there was an option in Inkscape that wasn't available elsewhere.

Thanks, Dan! I looked and I'm not sure there is a way to select no dithering in the Epilog driver, any idea?

Select Raster/Basic Options "CLIP ART".

Then send your picture ready dithered and in monochrome (BLACK and white).

(BLACK, because any other colour will get dithered by the Epilog driver).

Basically, the Epilog driver dithers colours and greys automatically, but by sticking to black and white you don't get this "interference" and your picture/file engraves "as-is"
