I turned this for my step daughter for christmas out of a small piece of mesquite. It was fun and easy to do, I will probably make some more of these for presents since it dons't take to long to make.

Like the wood and the color. Finished very nicely. Looks like fun. Did you use a forstner bit for the hollowing or did you hollow by hand, looks like an excellent fit to the glass.

Great job! It's a pretty simple project but this turned out nice!

Hi Dick, I did the hollowing with my 3/8 gouge, didnt take long at all to get the right depth and tapered width for the candle, once close I swapped over to a square nose scraper.

That is a nice looking tea light. Makes me want to get out to the shop & try one of them.
