Coffee Scoop, RR Style

This is the second one I have tried...the first unfortunatly was tossed into the wood stove. When I hollowed it I didnt make sure it was hollowed evenly throughout....I was fairly pleased with this one so it is now my daily coffee scoop, made from a piece of maple that had been destined for the wood stove. Finish is mylands. C&C are welcome of course.

Those are fun to make...and this one looks great Timothy. Maybe think about a different finish for high use items...Mylands is cool for show, but not good on wear.

You did good! When I first started turning I turned a small batch of these and we are still using them today! Fun little project!

Nice looking scoops! Mineral oil would be my choice of "finish" for utility items.
