planing/sanding

anyone know where I can get some 24" wide boards sanded or planed in Dayton or Cincinnati? I have two of them about 4' long, want to get smooth & true from the glue up.

Have you called any cabinet makers? I had to call 3 around here, but one had a drum sander he would run my pieces through if I ever needed to use him.

No, not yet. I was going to use craigslist too to see if anyone rents out time with one. I might be able to get by without it...I have 2-12" pieces now, and if I do a good job gluing together might not need it. just a backup plan

Check Woodcraft, ours here in Lex (owned by same guy as Cincinnati) rents out their big planer for like 50 cents a linear foot
