I want to put a double 45 degree bevel as in the pic....does anyone know if there's a router bit that will do this in a single pass?

I've never seen one,but there are some places that make custom router bits. Made that cut before with a corg head, you use a pair of " one up and one down" triangular knives to get a good sharp point.

Several companies make a set of two cutters for plywood edgebanding that will meet your needs. Unfortunatly you have to buy the set of two and there not inexpensive.

Heres one from Eagle.

Dale, that'll do the trick...thanks! And I don't mind buying the set because I've got some ply edgebanding projects coming up.

Scott,

Here's a similar set from MLCS. http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/bit_edgeband_ogee.html#edge_banding_anchor

I've used their Katana bits and have been quite pleased with the bits and service.

Thanks, Ken. Less expensive than the Eagle....I've also been happy with Katana bits.

Just picked up a set of Whitesides for edge banding like the others have shown on clearance from my somewhat local Woodcraft last weak. Paid about $65 for the 1/2" shank version.

Whiteside will make you anything you want, and the cost is typically pretty reasonable. They'll make you pretty much whatever you want.
