I came across this in my random research...;)
and was curious if anyone has played with this stuff.
It's cheap enough so I may get a bit of it. I get much of my
tile boxes for sublimated tiles from these guys. They carry
some different items also so you may want to check out their wares.

Seems similar to the precious metal clays - got a kiln?

I tried silver clay in the laser - completely useless.
A bit did melt and roll up unto tiny balls, but that was it.

Might be worth trying the glass clay -
As a cermark substitute to make glass patterns on ss or ceramics.
To make 2D "spun sugar" sculptures?

I do have access to kilns in our center, I may try the glass as I assume it has a frit base with something to suspend it.
Cheap enough to play with.

I don't do much kiln work though it's a bit out of my area of expertise, not enough time to play with all the "toys" I have available. :(

The metal clays use rice starch as the binder.
If you have finely ground frit to hand, you could probably make your own clay.

I got the same email from Aftosa. I would LOVE to play with this stuff. Someday I will have a kiln!

A kiln is on my wish-list too : I should like to try some enamelling.
