Hi all
I thoughd I post my experience with Home depot 1/4 acrylic engraving.
I use the 1/4 acrylic from homedepot a lot it is conviniant and relativ cheap.
this gives me a clear engraving for my mostly edge lit items.
the picture shows the newest making I spray painted the acrylic with rustoleum
spray paint wet in wet three different collor ( gold -floruesence green- copper)
and the engraved the motive from the painetd side.
the effect with the edge litighing is like a sparkling.

Great effect, Walter! Can you re-explain your painting process - my brain is not absorbing "wet in wet".

Time for more caffeine...

I suspect he meant "wet on wet"--applying coats 2 and 3 immediately after the previous coat.
